Datie (“Datie”, “we”, “us”), operated by Eclivionex, is a live social entertainment app where users host and watch live video/voice streams, chat, and send virtual gifts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Datie you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information: when you sign up with Google, email, or phone number, we receive your email address and/or phone number and a unique account ID.
Profile information: display name, username, profile photo, bio, gender, age/date of birth, and country that you choose to provide.
Content you create: live streams, audio, chat messages, comments, images, and other content you share in the app.
Camera & microphone: accessed only while you are broadcasting or in a video/voice call, to transmit your live stream. We do not record or store your camera/mic feed except where required for safety moderation.
Purchase information: in‑app purchases of coins are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase confirmation/token to credit your coins; we do not collect or store your card, bank, or full payment details.
Device & usage information: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP address, and in‑app activity (screens viewed, features used) used for analytics, security, and crash diagnostics.
Approximate location: country/region inferred from your IP or selected in your profile, used for discovery and compliance. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Identity verification (optional): if you apply to become a verified host, you may submit verification documents, which are used solely to verify your identity and eligibility.

2. How we use your information

To provide and operate the app — accounts, live streaming, chat, gifts, and coins.
To process in‑app purchases and credit virtual items to your account.
To keep the community safe — moderation, anti‑fraud, and enforcement of our policies.
To personalise discovery and recommendations.
To send service notifications (e.g., messages, calls, follows) via push notifications.
To analyse and improve the app, and to diagnose crashes and errors.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers that power the app: Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications), Agora (live audio/video delivery), and Cloudflare (content delivery and media storage).
Google Play for processing in‑app purchases.
Other users: your public profile, streams, and content you choose to share are visible to other users.
Legal & safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time at datie.in/delete. We process deletion requests within 30 days, except for limited records we must retain for legal, tax, fraud‑prevention, or accounting purposes.

5. Security

We use industry‑standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and a hardened infrastructure — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

6. Children

Datie is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will remove it.

7. Your rights & choices

Access, update, or correct your profile information in the app.
Request a copy or deletion of your personal data (see Section 4).
Control push notifications from your device and in‑app settings.
Block and report other users.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
