Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Datie account and personal data. Choose either method below.

Option 1 — In the app

Open Datie → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm.

Option 2 — Request here

Enter the email or phone number linked to your account and submit a request.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, photo, bio, country, gender) and account login.
Your content — streams, chat messages, comments, and uploaded media.
Your followers/following, blocks, and in‑app activity.
Any remaining virtual currency balances (these are non‑refundable).

What we may retain

For legal, tax, accounting, and fraud‑prevention reasons we may retain a limited set of transaction records for the period required by law. These are not used for any other purpose.

Timeline

Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days of verification.
